I am not a talented cook, and my Sundays are usually spent playing golf and doing laundry. Also, cooking is messy! Meal prep is a really good idea for helping people stay on track with their goals, but it just doesn’t work for me and my lifestyle.

Because I work a full-time job, packing a nutritious lunch is very important. A good lunch keeps me fueled to fight the afternoon slump and provides the energy I need to workout afterward. Icon Meals are cooked by a chef from natural, healthy ingredients, making it super simple for me to stay on track with my nutrition goals. Their meals come packaged with the macros listed right on the front, and a barcode that scans right into My Fitness Pal (for those who track).

“Some of my favorite meals are the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, the turkey pesto sliders, and the bison burger.”

The meals are cooked, vacuum sealed, and packaged with dry ice to keep them fresh, and delivered right to your door. You can freeze them so that they last longer, or keep them in your fridge if you plan on eating them soon.

Icon Meals changes their signature menu weekly, providing you with a variety of options. They have other options such as custom meals to align with your specific goals, or box meals which send you random foods.

So what makes Icon Meals different from other food prep services?

I’ve done quite a bit of shopping around and have found that Icon Meals has the most reasonable price. I’ve only found one other service that was cheaper, but their food was not as tasty (Clean Eatz). I typically buy from Icon’s Signature Menu because that’s where all the “good stuff” is (in my opinion). Some of my favorite meals are the brisket grilled cheese sandwich, the turkey pesto sliders, and the bison burger.

If you are looking to clean up your nutrition habits without having to meal prep for hours, I strongly recommend you give Icon Meals a try!

Pro Tip: I’ve heard reheating your Icon Meals in an air fryer is ah-mazing!

The questions in the title are all the reasons I love Icon Meals.
