The great (yet clichĂ©) thing about a new year is the sense of a fresh start. While we can probably agree that new year resolutions are overdone, let’s not get complacent. Make small adjustments to your daily routine, mindset, and/or nutrition, and results will follow! Here are some tools that I am currently using or continue to use in order to reach my goals.
5-Minute Self-Discipline Exercises
This book has me pumped up about focusing on my goals. It is designed to help you recognize obstacles that stand between you and your desire, and helps you to make a plan to accomplish what you want. There are open-ended questions that help you lay out your thoughts in a cohesive way so that you know where to get started. Personally, I’m working on keeping my home more organized, and this book gave me the kick-in-the-butt to get started.
1st Phorm’s Reds + Greens

Reduce bloat and improve gut health with these greens and reds! I’ve linked 1st Phorm’s homepage to the subtitle here because that’s the only site in which I’ve been able to find them. I’m not going to lie, I’m still figuring out how to improve the taste of these (lol), but I love the way they make me feel. Another reason these are especially great right now is that they also help improve your immune system. We could all use a little extra protection right now, am I right? I’ve been using the multi-purpose hand blender to prep my reds and greens lately (see below).
Multi-Purpose Hand Blender with Attachments

This durable hand blender has become one of my new favorite kitchen tools. I use the frother attachment to mix up my protein drinks, reds & greens, and other concoctions. I like it so much because it is much easier to clean up compared to my blender because who has time for that.
RPM Speed Rope

I am very biased when it comes to RPM’s jump ropes because it was the first rope that I could do double-unders with. I attribute my first “dubs” to the smooth, quick turn of the handles and the light weight of the rope itself. I first received my RPM rope from a subscription box (Barbella Box) and it came with plastic handles. The one linked here has metal handles which costs a bit more, but at least if you drop a barbell on it, the handles won’t bust! If your goal is to get doubles this year, I strongly recommend an RPM rope.
