March 2021 Favorite Product (Yep, just one!)

This month, I only have one favorite product. I’ve tried a few things out, and this is the only one I stand behind for March. However, this bad boy is worth your time, I promise!

Hot Logic Food Warmer

As a teacher, I’m given a 30 minute lunchbreak where I used to have to decide between cold food and a bathroom break, or warm food and a damaged bladder. I used to have a microwave in my classroom, but due to a couple of breakers being flipped, I was asked to take it home. My next option was to stand in line with the rest of the department and wait for a microwave.

Recently, a colleague introduced to me the Hot Logic Food Warmer, and I have no regrets! If you’ve been following my posts for a while, you know by now that I eat frozen, pre-made meals from Icon Meals for lunch. Those meals are vacuum sealed into plastic containers and kept in my freezer. Every morning, I pull a frozen meal out of the freezer and put it straight into my Hot Logic bag. When I get to work, I plug it in and it begins heating.

How to Use It

Put your food in the bag, zip it, and plug it in. There’s a warming plate inside the insulated bag that will gradually heat your food. I’m amazed that it manages to heat the food well, but doesn’t melt the plastic. It even comes with a plastic food container. There’s no on/off switch or any type of setting options. I would recommend plugging your warmer in at least an hour before you plan to eat, but as mentioned above, I plug mine in when I get to work because I’m afraid I’ll forget otherwise. It doesn’t overcook my food!

Food Quality

I actually prefer the quality of my Icon Meals after they are heated up in the Hot Logic. When I heat meals that have bread, the microwave can make that bread a little soggy; whereas, the Hot Logic makes it almost crispy! You know how some foods you have to take out of a microwave and stir? No need for that with the Hot Logic.

This product is such a time saver! If you have short lunch breaks, give this thing a try. Additionally, if you have a friend who is a teacher, get them this for their birthday (or Teacher Appreciation Week which is in May ?).
